Use Case 1AIP for Supply Chain Logistics

AIP for Supply Chain Logistics allows organizations to quickly and cost-effectively adapt their supply and demand plans in response to network constraints and external factors, supporting optimal Supply Chain operations.
Overview

AIP for Supply Chain Logistics enables organizations to react efficiently to disruptions in the supply chain.

Constraints in the network (i.e., location constraints, transportation capacity, labor shortages) as well as external factors might require supply and demand plans to be adjusted on short notice. Those adjustments should be made as fast as possible and with cost and impact to service in mind, in order to arrive at the best execution outcome for day-to-day logistics.

Paired with linear optimization models, AIP recommends necessary orders based on stock transfer orders in the network, surfacing for human-in-the-loop review. The optimization model considers the latest state of the network and potential disruptions through integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). AIP also considers live service levels and targets, as well as costs incurred when moving and processing product.
Supply Chain Control Tower

Evaluate inventory health across levels of the supply chain network. The application provides a granular overview of the state of your network, as well as an aggregate picture of the scale of the problem to be addressed.

Logistics Recommendation Interface

AIP provides recommendations of how to adjust stock transfer orders optimally when required. The recommendations can be reviewed and actioned upon by supply and demand planners. It’s possible to directly write the recommendations back to an ERP source system like SAP, Oracle, and other systems of record.

Use Case 2AIP for Material Shortage Management

AIP empowers teams to effectively manage material shortages by providing a global view into the impact of a shortage.

Overview

AIP helps teams effectively manage material shortages across the network by providing a global view into the impact of a shortage, with mitigation options to remediate issues. AIP provides a robust framework to help teams simulate multiple resolutions so that an operator can identify alternatives. Each of the operator’s decisions made with AIP are captured in the Ontology to ensure subsequent decisions are guided by known best practices.

AIP Alert Cockpit

AIP allows users to proactively identify upcoming out-of-stock risks across all material types - raw, intermediate, finished, packaging, and more. The AIP Alert Cockpit also enables users to configure business strategies to prioritize high-risk and impactful shortages across the portfolio for immediate intervention.

User Collaboration Framework

AIP enables operators across teams and hierarchical lines to seamlessly collaborate on potential issues using natural language and securely store the result of each collaboration to help drive more efficient solutions every day.

Use Case 3AIP Fleet Maintenance Copilot

AIP empowers technicians to efficiently identify, triage, and resolve mechanical issues on assets.
Overview

AIP Maintenance Copilot allows users to leverage real-time quality claims and defect reports, proactively surfacing potentially relevant insights to technicians during investigation.

Resolution recommendations are enriched with asset history, fleet-wide issues, previous fixes and relevant documentation to expedite the repair and reduce repetitive maintenance. Dynamic, governed integration of operator feedback enables continual process improvement.
Live Fleet-wide context

Technicians can read from and contribute to a real-time view of all systemic issues, recalls, and past resolutions. This not only expedites time to resolution but also improves quality of maintenance.

Digitize Analog Processes

As part of a technicians day-to-day tasks, AIP can process voice or video recordings of their process and expertise. This expert knowledge is then made available to the Ontology, making available innate knowledge to the broader organization. Technicians can benefit from their colleagues, reducing time required to ramp-up and providing the ability to solve more complex tasks.
